Learning French Free – Take Advantage Of French Lessons Online

If you’re looking to learn French free – and why not – you really want to take advantage of some of the many French lessons online. It’s a great introduction to learning your new language and it won’t cost you a cent!

To be honest, you aren’t going to learn fluent French just from a few online lessons. However, you can make an excellent start. You can learn a few useful French words and phrases, gain a bit of confidence (which always helps) and have a bit of fun with it.

The challenge you will find is sorting out the decent French lessons from the not-so-good. The trouble with anything offered free is that a lot of it, unfortunately, is worthless. Don’t be put off though if you find a few sites that are just a load of adverts with a few French phrases at the bottom of the page, there are some good sites for learning French free if you persevere.

One good way of finding them is to look at French lessons online which are offered by companies who actually want to sell you a French course. Your initial reaction might be that they aren’t free, but several of them provide free samples. A “try before you buy” kind of thing, which actually provides the best free French lessons you’ll find.

Why? Well these companies want you to buy from them, so it makes sense that they will put a real effort into giving you the best French lessons online that they can. If you think the free lessons are good, you are more likely to buy the paid-for ones, naturally. Of course you don’t have to buy them, do you. There’s no commitment required so it’s a great way of learning French free.

It’s also valuable if you want to take your French language skills further. You can get a lot of good basic information from free French websites, enough to handle some of the holiday situations you will come across, but sadly, not enough to make you anywhere near fluent. If you want to progress you’ll eventually have to leave the free French lessons behind and invest in a more complete French course.

But not yet! First take advantage of the opportunities of learning French free. See what’s out there, test the samples offered and then decide, having already had a bit of an “inside” look. It will save you time and probably quite a lot of money.
