Distance learning classes are ideal for students who may have transportation problems, work full time, have small children, living away from campus, etc. Most online classes allow you to work at their own pace, but most still have deadlines for submission of assignments.
Do not let anyone try to say that these courses are easier than offers regular classes because they are not. Distance learning courses are often more difficult for most students. To succeed in online education you need to be highly motivated and be self-started to do well and complete the courses.
If you are already taking an online class or you are planning to take an online class, please consider the following tips:
* Always mail, e-mail your assignments on time, early if possible.
* If you have a computer failure, have a backup plan.
* The work ahead if possible.
* Keep a copy of all submissions by mail, e-mail to the teacher.
* Develop a timetable for completion of each task and stick to it! Don 't let time out of your case is the biggest problem with online classes. You should find the time to complete their tasks.
* College classes require an effort much more than high school, try to avoid distractions while studying, remember that you can 't pass time away. Find out what days are best for their study.

Are you highly organized?
Are you a good time manager?
Are you an entrepreneur?
Do you feel comfortable using a computer and the Internet?
Are you comfortable with the terminology such online, portal, URL of the browser, etc?
Are you easily distracted?
Are you a reader with an understanding of high level?
Can you follow instructions? if so how well?
Are you sure you want to take an online class?
If your answer is "no" to these questions, you should reconsider taking online classes at this time.
